WHO WE ARE ? Togdheer University is one of the most prestigious and reputable community owned Universities in Somaliland. The University has opened its doors for the first time in 2011. Since then more than 1, 500 students have graduated form 5 different disciplines and over half that number are currently employed across all fields and institutions in the country. We have standardized facilities and testing methods to keep up with the most advanced universities in the world to further developed the education system of our nation and to eliminate the need to go abroad for quality education, because Togdheer brought the best education right next to your home town. Actually making a positive difference and a better world for living in for communities near or far has been more rewarding and important for us in defining the future lives of students and their communities through their core academic interests and university programs. UNIVERSITY STRUCTURE The university administration consists of Board of Directors and University Council. The Board of Directors are responsible for the overall leadership, management and organization of the university’s administrative affairs. This includes overseeing university facilities and students, human resources, faculty and staff benefits, university information services, auxiliary services, internal audit and risk management. The Council of the University is responsible for governance, policy making and monitoring and is, in particular, responsible for laying down guidelines relating to strategic governance, financial governance, staff matters, fostering a positive academic atmosphere, disciplinary matters regarding staff and students and the admission policies of the University
